In the Service Office

For extending the period of stay, an alien shall apply to the convenient Service Office of Citizenship and Migration Bureau of the Prefecture. In case of existence of the person being visited, also this inviter is required to pay a visit to the Service Office together with the alien.

Applications for extension of period of stay are received in the following Service Offices of Citizenship and Migration Bureau of the Prefecture:

•    Service Office of Citizenship and Migration Bureau of the North Prefecture at Vilmsi Street in Tallinn (Vilmsi 59, Tallinn)
•    Service Office of Citizenship and Migration Bureau of the North Prefecture at Sõle Street in Tallinn (Sõle 61a, Tallinn)
•    Service Office of Citizenship and Migration Bureau of the South Prefecture at Liiva Street in Tartu (Liiva 41, Tartu)
•    Service Office of Citizenship and Migration Bureau of the East Prefecture at Keskväljaku Street in Jõhvi (Keskväljak 1a, Jõhvi)
•    Service Office of Citizenship and Migration Bureau of the East Prefecture at Kerese Street in Narva (Kerese 3, Narva)
•    Service Office of Citizenship and Migration Bureau of the West Prefecture at Aida Street in Pärnu (Aida 5, Pärnu)

If the alien has no possibilities to apply to the relevant Service Office in person, this may be done by an authorized representative. The authorisation document shall be formalized in the field foreseen at the blank of application for extension of period of stay. The authorised representative shall prove his/her person by presenting a valid ID-card, residence card or passport.
