Upon application for a residence permit the following must be submitted:

• application form (complete on screen; print out and fill in by hand);
• annex 2 (complete on screen; print out and fill in by hand);
• annex 3 (complete on screen; print out and fill in by hand);
• a standard curriculum vitae (complete on screen; print out and fill in by hand);
• the identity document of an applicant;
• a document certifying the education level, speciality or occupation of an applicant;
• a document certifying the amount of investments of an applicant in Estonia and the amount of the investments controlled by an applicant;
• applicant’s written statement of grounds, why his/her settlement to Estonia is important and necessary for business, proceeding from national interests by development of the Estonian economy; 
• description of a business plan where nature, extent of business, character of business activities and also quantity, qualification and skills of the required personnel can be seen; 
• document that certifies existence of an actual residential space in Estonia (except if the domicile has been registered in the population register of Estonia);
• a document certifying the legal income;
• insurance contract;
• a coloured photo sized 40x50 mm;
• a document certifying the payment of the state fee.

In order to extend residence permit, the same documents are submitted, except curriculum vitae. Data regarding close relatives, spouse, family members and dependence must be submitted only, if data are have changed after application for residence permit.
