Overview of documents required for registering of the short-term employment:

 
An application has to be filled out legibly and univocally in the Estonian language and it must not contain corrections. The application has to be signed by the employer personally or a person having right of representation in the name of the legal employer (a head of the authority in case of public law agency). Every page of the application has to be signed in order to confirm authenticity of the data submitted in application. More detailed instructions for filling the application form can be found here.

Additional documents
By registering of short-term employment for artistic activities in the sense of Performing Arts Institutions Act by working in performing arts institution, a document proving professional training or experience for such activities is submitted.

By registering of short-term employment for scientific research, a document proving professional training or experience for such activities is submitted.

By registering of short-term employment for vocational training purposes by way of field training of foreign educational institution or students’ organisation or by referral of an educational institution, if this is a part of curriculum, a certificate of the sending vocational training institution, students’ organization or educational institution is submitted additionally. 

By registering of short-term employment as service personnel of a diplomatic representation of a foreign state, a permit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for employment as service personnel of a diplomatic representation is submitted.

By registering of short-term employment for as an installer of equipment or a skilled worker, a document proving professional training for such activities is submitted.

By registering of short-term employment for expert, adviser or consultant, a document proving professional training for such activities is submitted.

By applying for registering of short-time employment, an alien’s travel document has to be valid for at least six months after the end of registration of the applied short-term employment.

By registering of short-term employment, an alien is obliged to submit additional data or documents related to circumstances having importance by registering of short-time employment.
