Overview of documents required for applying the work permit

• application form (an option to fill out on a computer or to print out an to fill by hand; more detailed instructions for filling);
• an identity document of the applicant;
• colour photo by size of 40 x 50 mm;
• document proving payment of the state fee.

• written agreement of an educational institution for working of an alien outside of school hours that would contain the name, registry code and address of the educational institution, data related to time and amount of auditory and practical school hours proceeding from study arrangements (is valid for two months starting from giving the agreement);
• written explanation of an applicant why he or she wishes to work;
• data of the working place (data of an employer, registry code/Estonian personal code, field of activities of the employer, address, phone, fax, e-mail addresses of the employer);
• description of work;
• contract data (type of contract, alien’s amount of work per month, estimated time of taking and finishing employment, Office, salary).

 
By applying for extension of the work permit the same documents are submitted as by applying for work permit.
