Applying for extension of the residence permit of a minor child is not required as it is extended automatically upon the extension of the residence permit of their parent or upon the issue of a new residence permit to the parent.

If the child receives a residence permit automatically, the requirement for applying for a residence card for them arises when they reach 15 years of age. If you wish to travel with the child across the state border, you should apply for a residence card for them sooner.
