What happens if the residence permit expires or is not extended?

If your residence permit expires upon reaching its validity date or is not extended, you may stay in Estonia for up to 90 days. If you held a residence permit for study or for employment as a researcher, your stay is permitted for up to 270 days.

What happens if the residence permit is revoked?

If your residence permit is revoked, you must leave Estonia immediately.
