Reinforcing the border

Until 26 November, flight restrictions apply to both manned and unmanned aircraft along the eastern border. The flight restrictions are necessary to ensure safety and to gain an overview of aircraft operating in the area. People who need to fly in the restricted area must contact the PBGB for authorisation.

This is a temporary restriction for the duration of the additional reservist training, but there is also a permanent flight restriction zone in the border area, which means that flights closer than 5 kilometres from the border must be coordinated with the PBGB and the Transport Administration.
