Flight booking information

BRIIS is a booking information system, managed by Estonian Police and Border Guard Board. It is linked with internal and international security databases. Cooperation helps to identify additional connections in case of suspected serious crime or terrorism.

In 2018 all member countries of EU are establishing their booking information systems. Already for years booking information systems have been in in United Kingdom, US, Australia, New Zealand and Mexico.

Countries, where booking records are already used for law enforcement purposes, have managed to intercept a number of individuals suspected of terrorism, drug traffickers, human traffickers and smugglers.

Development and implementation of the BRIIS information system is co-financed from the European Union's foundation for the prevention of and fight against crime.
