Permits for economic activity

An activity licence related to military weapons is required for operating in the following activity areas:

• manufacture of a military weapon, essential component thereof or non-explosive ordnance
• repair or conversion of a military weapon as a service
• transport of military weapon, ammunition or ordnance
• manufacture of vehicle, watercraft or aircraft or other product, on to which a military weapon is to be installed

In addition, an activity licence may be applied for in order to operate in the following activity areas:

• provision of ammunition or ordnance storage service
• manufacture of ammunition or explosive ordnance
