As the payment details, specify “Passi taotlemine” (Passport application) and the name of the person for whom the state fee was paid.

Document certifying payment of the state fee

If you pay the state fee by bank transfer, present, upon applying for the passport, a document certifying payment of the state fee. A printout of a transfer made in an online bank in hard copy or as a file is suitable.

When submitting state fee data in writing, specify the following:

  • name of the credit institution and account from which the state fee was paid
  • name of the person who paid the state fee
  • date on which the state fee was paid
  • name of the credit institution and account to which the state fee was paid
  • reference no.
  • the name of the person for whom the state fee was paid;
  • name of the document you are applying for
  • amount paid

Payment of state fee from a bank outside Estonia

As the payment details, specify “Passi taotlemine” (Passport application), the reference number and the name of the person for whom the state fee was paid.

When paying the state fee from a bank outside Estonia, you will need to know the BIC or SWIFT code of the bank in Estonia. It may take up to 2 weeks for the funds to be received.
