Russian-Language Content to Be Reduced on Police Website

From 4 November, the amount of Russian-language content on the Police and Border Guard Board website will be reduced.

Starting 4 November, only the temporary protection section intended for Ukrainian war refugees and information about contacts and service locations will remain available in Russian.

Information related toresidence permits, border crossing, and document applicationswill inthe future be providedonly in Estonian and English.

The Russian-language webpage will remain as an information channel and the police will continue to use it for sharing crisis information in Russian.

The state helpline 1247 will also continue to provide information about the services of the Police and Border Guard Board in Russian.
